Objectives:

  1. Electrical circuits provide a means of transferring electrical energy when heat, light, and sound are produced (e.g., open and closed circuits).

Time Range:
4th quarter; five weeks

Suggested Teaching Strategies:
An electricity unit is used to teach the transferring of electrical energy that produces heat, light, sound and chemical changes. Demonstrating static electricity assist in showing the transferring of energy.
