Purpose:
The student will observe variation within a species and use Punnett squares to predict possible offspring.
Option 1 - Ninsects
Option 2 - Frequency of human traits
NOTE: Each teacher is encouraged to do both options during this unit.

Summary:
Students determine genotype and phenotype from ninsect parts and random coin tossing to develop concepts of variation.
