2. B. In all environments, organisms with similar needs may compete with one another for resources, including food, space, water, air, and shelter. Other relationships may be beneficial.
   Local extension: Students will learn how the different components of an ecosystem and the inter-relationships of the differences of an ecosystem are important to our survival.

3rd Quarter

Suggested Teaching Strategies:

• Ecosystem activities.
• Create an ecosystem and label each category (i.e. carnivore, decomposer, herbivore, etc.).
