Purpose:
The student should gain a working knowledge of carrying capacity, doubling time, exponential growth and how each of these affect population growth and resources.

Summary:
Students interpret a case study of reindeer population over a period of 40 years. They interpret graphs of the reindeer population and then construct a similar graph using a data table of human population. Finally, the student will form conclusions based on interpretation of graph data.
