Purpose: To observe the effects of adding organic and inorganic catalysts to hydrogen peroxide.
Summary: Students will observe the reactivity of hydrogen peroxide when the following items are added: manganese dioxide, raw liver, raw potato, cooked liver, and cooked potato. Using this information, they will try to develop an explanation for the observed reactions.
