Purpose: To help each student better understand the concept of a food chain; more about interactions within a population; and why "eating lower on the food chain" enables an organism to have more food available.
Summary: Students will study and diagram an imaginary food chain, evaluating the size of the components, the inter-relationships of the components, and then applying this information to a real-life food chain.
