Purpose:
To research a human genetic disorder.

Summary:
Students will be assigned a human genetic disorder to research. They will determine the genetic basis of the disorder, explain the medical ramifications for a person with the disorder, and provide up-to-date research findings and treatment options. They will organize and present their information via a power point presentation or poster.
