Purpose:
To develop and understanding of DNA components, and to show (using given information) what the DNA molecule looks like.

Summary:
Students will build a DNA model using materials of their own choosing. Completed models will consist of three complete turns and will include components representing all four nitrogenous bases, the deoxyribose sugar, the phosphate group, double and triple hydrogen bonds where appropriate, and a key.
