Salge Hello! I am Karen Salge
and it is my privilege to serve as Wilson Elementary School's
Counselor. I have a Master's Degree in Marriage, Family and Child
Counseling from Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, CA and have
practiced in the state of Oklahoma as a Licensed Marriage and Family
Therapist (L.M.F.T.) since 1991. In 2004 I completed testing through
the Oklahoma State Department of Education to become alternatively
certified as a School Counselor. Previously I have served the
Bartlesville School District as the counselor for the Bartlesville
Alternative High School from 1990-1995 and as a paraprofessional at
Wayside Elementary from 2000-2002.
I enjoy working with children of all ages and helping
those children and their families communicate clearly and do
constructive problem solving with each other. I am honored to have
the opportunity to work with your children here at Wilson
Elementary. I am in each
classroom for 30 minutes every other week. Should you ever have any
