I have a B.S. in Secondary Education  and an Masters in Special Education both from Pittsburg State University.

 

I taught for 13 years in Osceola, Missouri and 12 years in Bartlesville.

 

I am married with 2 grown kids that both live in Oklahoma City.

I graduated from Central State University with a B.S. in Special Education; Learning Disabilities. I am currently working toward my Master’s degree in School Counseling at OSU-Tulsa and I am a member of the Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Honor Society.

 I previously taught for five years in the Bartlesville school system as a traveling Special Education teacher serving Jefferson, Highland Park, Washington, and Jane Phillips schools. I now divide my teaching time between Madison Middle School and Wilson Elementary.

 I have been married for 32 years to my high school sweetheart, Gary.  We are the proud parents of two wonderful children, Chelsey and Austin. Also rounding out our family are two wild and crazy dogs, Lily and Mac! 

I love selling and collecting antiques, gardening, and visiting as much as possible with family and friends. I also LOVE being around children of all ages and listening to their thoughts, dreams, and goals for their lives and the world around them.

This is my second year of teaching. I was a Special Education Assistant for 11 years at Wilson Elementary while I completed my teaching degree.
