On April 9, 2025 the school board accepted Mr. Eidson's resignation and named Brent Massey as the Principal at Madison Middle School. The district will begin a search for a new Assistant Principal.

Mr. Massey taught social studies in Muskogee from 2007 to 2009, taught at Bartlesville's Central Middle School in 2009-2010, and taught at Madison from 2012 to 2015, being named Madison's Teacher of the Year for 2014-2015. He became the Principal at Dewey Middle School before returning to Madison to teach and then, last summer, becoming Madison's Assistant Principal.
