Pinwheels & Popcorn is an elementary fee-based summer enrichment program for students who are currently in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade. The classes are designed to offer academic enrichment, artistic expression, as well as recreational activities. Certified instructors will be teaching hands-on activities across the curricular areas of science, math, language arts, and physical education. These areas are designed to meet the developmental abilities of each age. In addition, special speakers and field trips will enhance the daily activities. Students will experience new and exciting projects each day throughout the week, including a field trip, a water day, and a Pinwheels & Popcorn T-shirt!
This summer’s theme will be “The Incredible Journey” and the program will be on June 3-7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Ranch Heights Elementary School. The topics will include extreme weather, around the world in a week, national parks, systems, lifecycles, and more.
