Five Bartlesville High School students–Caylen Lee, Carson Lee, Jonathan Lai, Isabell Thoreson, and Nick Du–recently competed at the 2025 International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) in Columbus, Ohio. Each student had the opportunity to present their project on the international stage, joining more than 1,300 student projects from 63 countries.

Bartlesville High School is especially proud to announce that Jonathan Lai received 3rd place in the Environmental Engineering category, a significant achievement.

The students were sponsored by Honors Biology I teacher Shelley Brown and Honors Chemistry I teacher Jessica Strain.

“I am deeply impressed by what these students accomplished through their dedication and hard work on their science fair projects this year,” said Brown. “Their participation at ISEF is not only a reflection of their talent and perseverance but also of the value of science education and exploration in our school community.”
