This year the district will again have take-home Chromebooks for students in grades 6-12, including issuing new devices to incoming 6th graders in late July and early August at the Central and Madison registrations.

Parents of all middle and high school students are urged to consider purchasing the district's Chromebook Insurance for 2020-2021.  The insurance provides full coverage for the first incident and 50% coverage for the second incident of any accidental damage or loss from August 13, 2020 through the start of the following school year.

  • You can purchase that insurance NOW online using a credit card or a debit card that has a MasterCard or Visa logo for $25 plus a $1 processing fee.
  • There will be opportunities to pay via cash or check later this summer or when school starts, but we don't have details on that yet.

The PowerSchool Portal has been reopened for middle and high school students so that parents can make online credit card payments for the optional insurance as well such items as lost textbooks or library books, etc.

Parents with PowerSchool accounts should login as usual at https://sis.bps-ok.org/public/ and then click the Purchases and Payments link at the bottom of the left sidebar.  (Sorry, but online payments do not work in the PowerSchool mobile apps. You must use a standard web browser.)

You can also login and make payments using a student's PowerSchool credentials, but logging in as a parent allows you to pay for all students in a family at once.

If you need help, see our step-by-step guide to making online payments in PowerSchool.

If you need help completing purchases, please contact the Financial Secretary at the school in question:
