At its regular meeting on April 20, the Bartlesville Public Schools Board of Education will consider the appointment of Robin White as the next Principal of Wilson Elementary effective July 1.
White would fill the position vacated by Staci Bankston who is moving to the newly created position of Director of Curriculum.
White brings a wealth of experience in school leadership to Wilson Elementary. In addition to her role as building principal, she has served Hominy Public Schools in multiple district-level capacities, including as Federal Programs Director and Curriculum Director, overseeing curriculum development from preschool through fifth grade. Her tenure reflects a broad understanding of the district’s instructional priorities and the needs of its students and families.
White has been an Elementary Principal with Hominy Public Schools since August 2021, leading both Hominy Elementary and Hominy Early Childhood Center. Prior to moving into administration, she spent eight years as a kindergarten teacher at Hominy Early Childhood Center. She also taught third grade at Pawhuska Public Schools.
White holds a Master’s of Education in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University, a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education from Oklahoma State University, and an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts from Rogers State University. She is certified in Elementary Education (PK–5) and Early Childhood Education, and is currently pursuing her Superintendent certification.
If approved by the board, White will transition into her new role at Wilson Elementary for the upcoming school year.
