At its regular meeting on May 18, the Bartlesville Public Schools Board of Education will consider the appointment of Dillon Dobbins as Assistant Principal of Bartlesville High School. Dobbins would fill the Assistant Principal vacancy created by the appointment of Aaron Kuntz as Principal of Central Middle School.
Dobbins comes to Bartlesville Public Schools from Bixby Public Schools, where he has served since 2019 as both a Special Education Teacher and a coach. In his role as a special education teacher, he developed individualized education programs tailored to student needs while collaborating with general education teachers to support the successful inclusion of students with special needs. As a coach, Dobbins brings five years of experience at the junior varsity and varsity baseball levels, along with two years as Head Boys Golf Coach.
Dobbins holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education from Northeastern State University. He holds certifications in Health/Physical Education, Mild/Moderate Special Education, and Administration/Principal K–12.
