Holden Yoder named Softball Coach

At its regular meeting on June 15, the Bartlesville Public Schools Board of Education will consider the appointment of Holden Yoder as Head Softball Coach at Bartlesville High School.

Yoder brings firsthand experience as a collegiate athlete and a foundation in coaching at the high school level. He served as an assistant coach at Wyandotte High School in 2025, where he led hitting instruction for the softball program. Under his guidance, offensive production increased from 5.9 runs per game in 2024 to 7.2 runs per game in 2025. Prior to that role, he served as a volunteer assistant coach at Adair High School across multiple summers and seasons, contributing to baseball and softball programs at both the middle school and high school levels.

As a player, Yoder was a four-year starter at Adair High School and earned a spot on the 2021 Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Association All-State team, helping lead the program to the 3A State Runner-up finish that year. He went on to play two years at Northern Oklahoma College-Enid, where he started as a sophomore, and completed his playing career as a starter at Northeastern State University in the spring of 2025. Yoder holds a Bachelor in History with a coaching minor from Northeastern State University.

Yoder is taking the place of Coach Kyle Minton who was recently named Athletics Assistant Director.
