At its regular meeting on July 20, the Bartlesville Board of Education appointed Bradrick “Brad” Henderson to fill the vacant board seat for District 6. 

Henderson brings more than two decades of experience in technology leadership to the board. He currently serves as Supervisor of Automation Development at ConocoPhillips, where he hires, mentors, and manages a team of six developers. He also developed a leadership onboarding program spanning multiple levels of leadership and has led several employee resource groups aimed at improving engagement across the organization. 

Prior to his current role, Henderson served as Supervisor of Cloud Operations. Earlier in his career, he worked as an automation analyst and held IT roles supporting Memorial Hermann Health System and ExpressJet Airlines. Henderson studied general engineering at the University of Houston and earned an Associate of Science in Electronic Engineering Technology from Houston Community College.

In his letter of interest, Henderson said he and his family have come to call Bartlesville home.
