Bartlesville Public Schools is proud to announce Superintendent Chuck McCauley has been awarded the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award from the Oklahoma Association of School Administrators (OASA).
Superintendent McCauley is finishing his 34th year in education, including 29 years in administration. His tenure includes overseeing more than $100 million in bond projects, expanding career and technical education pathways, and developing partnerships with local businesses and community organizations. McCauley has been active in state and national professional organizations and served in leadership roles within the United Suburban Schools Association. He also participated in statewide legislative advocacy efforts, including coordination during the 2018 teacher walkout.
The OASA stated that McCauley’s career exemplifies the qualities recognized by the Lifetime Achievement Award: visionary leadership, commitment to continuous improvement, and a legacy of service that extends beyond his own district. McCauley will be recognized at the Cooperative Council for Oklahoma School Administration Summer Leadership Conference on May 27–29, 2026. Lawton Public School Superintendent Kevin Hime and Checotah School Superintendent Monte Madewell will also be honored.
